How Do I Get Started?
The goal of our "Partner Selection and Engagement Process" is to form relationships that will benefit both the Franchisee and Darriwill Farm.
Step 1 – Application Form
Applicant’s complete the Darriwill Farm Franchise Application Form
Step 2 – Telephone Screen
Once you have submitted you application form to the Darriwill Farm Franchise Department you will be contacted within 48 -72 hours to further discuss the opportunity. The telephone screen is a chance for a potential franchisee to discuss your suitability to our retail model and to ask further question that you feel important about a Darriwill Farm Franchise.
Step 3 – Application Kit
If after our initial telephone screen, Darriwill Farm believes that you potential to become a franchisee and partner with the Darriwill Farm Group you will be emailed out a complete Darriwill Farm Franchisee Application Kit.
Step 4 – First Interview
Once Darriwill Farm receives the completed Franchisee Application Kit a first interview will be arrange with in 14 days. This interview is designed to give both parties the opportunity to make further opinions about one another and allow follow up of any important questions that you may have.
Step 5 – Document Presentation
Following the first interview, we will discuss your suitability to the Darriwill Farm Franchise Model and pending the success of your application and after you have completed our confidentiality agreement we will present you with our franchise documents.
Step 6 – Second Interview
After you have pursued our franchise documents there may be some important questions that you would like answered or further detail about. This meeting will give you the opportunity to discuss any questions that you may have about our franchise agreement documentation.
Step 7 – In-Store Experience and Evaluation
In Store Experience gives the applicant a chance to evaluate our operational systems and gives Darriwill Farm a chance to evaluate the applicant’s aptitude and passion for the retail environment. You will get a first hand experience of the operational side of Darriwill Farm as well as experience face to face our customers and managers. After your in store experience out Franchisee Selection Manager will ask you to complete some general questions about you experience and discuss you evaluation of our systems and operations.
Step 8 – The Directors Interview
The final interview will take place at our Head Office with our Directors and Franchise Operations Manager. Prior to the interview our directors will be provided with a complete profile and report on the franchise applicant. This will give you the opportunity to meet the people responsible for the future direction of Darriwill Farm. Following this interview the Directors of Darriwill Farm Will make a decision regarding your suitability in becoming a Darriwill Farm Franchisee. You will be notified of the Directors decision within 48 hours.
Step 9 – Training
The final stage of the process entails training for the new franchisee. Typically this training takes six to eight weeks and covers every aspect the business including product knowledge and meeting the producers, merchandising, customer service, store management, store operations, stock management, IT, marketing, human resources and the financial management of your business. You training will also involve the franchisee developing a full business plan including their future visions, ambitions and expectations for their business.
