What is Darriwill Farm?

Darriwill Farm is based in the Moorabool Valley near Geelong. The bluestone homestead dates back to the 1850’s, and today the farm boasts olives, fat lambs, a vineyard of Pinot Noir, and rich river flats sown down with Lucerne.

The present owners, Dougal and Nellie Ramsay, have set out on a journey to create a chain of retail stores that embraces all of the lost qualities of the traditional Australian country store. Dougal’s passion for preserving many aspects of Australian rural life comes through in his artwork. Trained as an illustrator, his work is found in many private collections both here and overseas.
